In early 2013 Harmony helped launch de Pury de Pury, a company owned by Simon and Michaela de Pury specialising in curating exhibitions, benefit auctions, discovering and mentoring emerging artists, building collections, advising established collectors and institutions, together with facilitating private transactions of Impressionist, Modern, Post War and Contemporary Art. Harmony manages all aspects and logistics of the company’s activities, exhibitions, auctions, advisory and the owner’s private collection requiring careful market research, budgeting, negotiation, shipping, insurance, inventory, storage, loaning to galleries, museums and exhibitions.
In 2009 Harmony had joined Phillips de Pury, working closely with Simon and Michaela de Pury across all departments of the Auction House over four years, primarily focusing on the auctions of Contemporary Art, Design and Photography, single owner sales, private transactions, commissions, exhibitions and benefit auctions. Harmony advised clients on all pre and post sale support including research, tailored recommendations, market intelligence, bidding, invoicing, shipping, insurance, taxes, inventory, storage and loaning artworks. Through this she developed close working relationships with gallery owners, dealers, advisors and collectors. Harmony was also involved in organising sale proposals, private viewings, dinners, talks and tours at the auction house.
Harmony studied Fine Art at the University of Arts London, majoring in Contemporary Painting, followed by obtaining a BA Honours degree in Fine Art, History of Art and Architecture from the University of Reading.
In 2015 de Pury de Pury opened an office in Zurich, Switzerland where Harmony is now based, to further focus on the European part of the business, private collections and transactions, and to provide a permanent and convenient point of contact in Europe for their clients.
